Amrize Expands ‘Made in America’ Label

Amrize is expanding its ‘Made in America’ label to four additional U.S. cement plants, bringing the total to nine plants across the country, offering builders the guarantee of American manufacturing and quality, supporting American jobs and local communities.

The ‘Made in America’ label signifies that all aspects of the cement are made in the United States from its raw materials and processing to manufacturing, meeting rigorous U.S. performance standards.

The additional Amrize plants now offering the ‘Made in America’ cement label include the company’s manufacturing sites in Ada, Okla.;  Alpena, Mich.; Joppa, Ill.; and Paulding, Ohio.

The label first rolled out last November at the company’s flagship sites of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; Midlothian, Texas; Devil’s Slide, Utah; Holly Hill, S.C.; and Portland, Colo.

“As America’s builders prioritize domestic materials, our ‘Made in America’ label offers our customers the confidence of U.S. performance standards along with reliable supply at scale, while supporting local jobs and communities,” said Patrick Cleary, Amrize senior vice president of U.S. Cement and Supply Chain. “With our national scale, local expertise and high-performance cement, we’re able to be the partner that our customers can depend on for their most important building projects.”

To expand its ‘Made in America’ cement offering, the company is investing to increase production at its major cement plants from Ste. Genevieve to Midlothian. These projects are part of Amrize’s planned $900 million investment across its operations in 2026.
